At your own pace
A question is a good place to start.
These answers describe the fictional sample practice. They do not assess your ears or replace professional advice.
What happens at my first appointment?
There is time to discuss the appointment, examine your ears and explain what is suitable. No treatment should begin without your agreement. Our Your visit page walks through the three steps.
Can I bring someone with me?
Yes, this sample practice welcomes a companion. Please ask about communication or access needs before arranging a visit.
Should I share medical details on this website?
No. Please use the form only for a general request. Do not include medical history, symptoms, documents or other sensitive information. Nothing is sent or stored by this demo.
Is my online request a confirmed booking?
No. The date and time are preferences. This demo sends nothing and creates no appointment. A real clinic would need to confirm availability and suitability.
How much does microsuction cost?
The illustrative fees are £50 for one ear and £75 for both ears. Hearing checks are discussed individually; home visits are quoted separately where offered. Agree all fees before treatment.
Where is the clinic?
The sample address is 12 Meridian Court, Sale, Greater Manchester. It is fictional. Directions open Sale town centre rather than a real clinic. Ask about parking and step-free access before a real visit.
Microsuction and preparation
Do I need one ear or both?
Choose either as a preference, or choose “Not sure yet”. The examination determines what is suitable. These are fee options for the same procedure.
Will treatment happen at the first visit?
Only if the examination shows it is suitable and you agree to proceed. This fictional demo cannot assess suitability.
Should I use drops first?
Ask a clinician or pharmacist whether drops are suitable for you. Do not use ear drops if you have a perforated eardrum. See our preparation guide for the NHS source.
